Christianne has a multi-faceted background including a degree in Architecture, an MBA from McGill, plus many years of corporate management experience at a Fortune 500 company. Following this success, she decided to follow her passion and open her own bridal store with her own designs.
While shopping for her own wedding dress as well as helping friends, Christianne wished there was a boutique that offered simple, yet beautiful designer wedding dresses. This needed to be complemented by individual service no matter what the bride's budget.
A few years later the dream became reality. The response has been overwhelmingly positive with brides coming from all over Canada and even internationally. "I can honestly say that every single bride has told either me or my team how happy they are with our gowns and our service from start to finish. There is no better feeling in the world."
Christianne originally opened her boutique in the heart of the “Plateau” in Montreal to allow local brides a chance to shop directly with the designer. A short while later Christianne discovered Lis Simon, an up-and-coming designer from Calgary whose designs are a perfect match for what was missing in Montreal. Justina McCaffrey, known as one of the top five bridal designers worldwide, was next to be featured in Christianne's selection. Lazaro's "Tara Keely" collection was added in the fall of 2011 to the delight of our clientele. We welcomed the Rivini collection designed by internationally acclaimed Canadian Rita Vinieris in the spring of 2012. Rivini is for the most discerning bride who appreciates fine, minimalist design. Finally, we are now one of the only two boutiques in North America representing Caroline Castigliano who has been synonymous with the very finest in british bridal couture for 21 years.
Today Christianne Brunelle Couture represents the best of both worlds: a locally designed and fully customizable collection alongside hand-picked internationally renowned labels while maintaining a focus on Canadian designers.
