Our Concept
Read below to see what owner Christianne Brunelle encountered when shopping for hew own wedding dress. These issues are the very inspiration behind Christianne Brunelle Couture, now known as the boutique who raised the bar for wedding dress shopping in Montreal.
Issue #1: Local stores all carrying dresses that look the same...
Christianne set out to bring in designers that no other bridal store in Quebec offers. The resulting collections are fresh and modern, and all exclusive to our boutique in Quebec.
Issue #2: A complete lack of customer service, or, even worse: the "you are not deserving of my time" treatment.
Our solution: Each bride has a personalized consultation of two hours with a friendly and knowledgeable Stylist. It is not unusual for our brides and Stylists to send friendly emails back and forth, or even to have in-depth heart-to-heart discussions. Our Stylists are with you throughout the entire process, therefore it is a personal relationship that evolves over the course of your planning process.
Issue #3: Crowded stores with dresses sandwiched in plastic bags.
We recognize that it is hard to evaluate which dresses to try on when they are encased in plastic. That is why we display our gowns safely away from the floor and facing forward. Our space is like no other - Christianne chose a loft space with high ceilings and a window overlooking the mountain. Utilizing the skills she learned during her degree in Architecture, she designed the boutique to have open spaces and an uplifting feel.
Issue #4: No prices marked on the dresses!
This practice is not only confusing to the consumer, it begs the question, why? Is it because the prices change from customer to customer? Every item in our boutique is marked with a price tag. In the event a price tag falls off, we have a state-of-the-art software system with every item we offer available at our fingertips. It's just the right way to run a business!
Issue #5: Feeling like you have to "negotiate" to get the real price.
We believe that buying your wedding dress should be an uplifting experience, not adversarial. That is why every item's price is clearly marked so that all customers pay the same price for the same items. You can relax knowing that we are treating your fairly with our transparency.
Issue #5: High-pressure sales tactics.
Christianne heard all sorts of "reasons" she had to make a decision about her dress on the spot: the dress was being discontinued "soon", it was on "sale" that day ONLY... These are artificial reasons to catch a bride off-guard with such an important (and emotional) purchase. We believe that our superior product and exceptional service are enough to bring you back if you need to sleep on it.
Issue #6: Alterations NOT included, and not explained.
This can be frustrating - you just paid thousands of dollars for your dream wedding dress, and it comes in not fitting properly. Surprise! You are now at the mercy of the store's non-transparent alterations pricing. After your first fitting you feel like you have to settle for the way the dress fits even if you are not completely satisfied, for fear of another huge bill. Our experience is all about 100% customer satisfaction. Alterations are included* with our wedding dresses until each bride is totally satisfied. Now that's a relief!
* One exception: Theia destination wedding dresses.

Issue #7: Antiquated practices including paper-based record keeping and scheduling.
Drawing from her MBA and corporate work experience Christianne implemented several state-of-the-art systems to automate crucial store processes. For example, brides can book appointments in real time with instant confirmation, 24/7. Our point-of-sales software automates and simplifies every bride's order from start to finish. With one click your consultant can email a PDF of your order with balance information, or see when your dress and each accessory will arrive in store. You can have confidence that everything is running like clockwork and that we deliver what we promise.
